With over ten years under her belt, Sarah Farrell has acted as a mini foreman on the job for over 8 complete historic renovations in her hometown of Southern Pines, NC. Through Beaver Path, a family property management company she was able to flex her keen design muscle throughout the rehabilitation of some of the areas most beloved, and yet at risk homes from the turn of the century.
The styles of home that she has worked on range from the Queen Anne style of the Victorian era, through the craftsman and bungalows of the twenties and forties, and she was even able to take on the more relatively broad style of the eighties, and create two craftsman masterpieces.
“Sarah has incredible vision and taste. She did an amazing job, not only taking the time to understand and help us further define our style, but also patiently working with us to create a space which reflects that style by building upon our existing furniture and decor, without blowing out our budget.”
Michael, The Asheville Project
"Sarah has classic style and impeccable taste. She helped to transform our outdated mid-80s suburban home into a cohesive and well-planned modern space, gently steering us towards elements that will never go out of fashion. We would've been lost without her input and we can't recommend her enough."
Miles & Katie, The Durham Project
"Sarah’s eye for color was impeccable. Even choices I resisted have come to be valued and loved. How to arrange furniture? How to rescue really bad room dimensions? How to up the game even of a room already looking great? The Estate of Things sells merchandise that makes things work. And their design skills are phenomenal."
